Today I’m reflecting on masks.
During the influenza epidemic of 1918, masks were mandatory.
There were three waves of influenza to hit planet Earth in the early 1900’s with the second wave being the deadliest. It appears that folks got careless after surviving the first wave.
Amidst all this disease, it’s no wonder masks became a necessity.
So again, what’s old is new again. Fashion comes around full circle.
